Octavian Adrian Negoita, CEMS Junior Member and MA student at the Medieval Studies Department, presented at The Oxford University Byzantine Society's 19th International Graduate Conference: “Transmitting and Circulating the Late Antique and Byzantine Worlds,” 24-25 February, 2017. Octavian presented a paper entitled “Writing against Islam in the Ottoman Empire: Pachomios Rousanos (1508-1553) and the Byzantine Polemical Literature against Islam.”
