An alumna of the now-defunct Medieval Studies Department, Dora Ivanišević returned to CEU as a part-time coordinator with the Center for Eastern Mediterranean Studies. Concurrently, she is teaching world history courses as an adjunct at Webster University. Previously, she held a number of postdocs in the US and Croatia, her home country. Her research focuses on the society and culture of the Roman Empire, and more recently it has ventured into the literary culture of late medieval and early modern Dubrovnik and wider eastern Adriatic region.
